SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is proud to partner with an ultra-luxury hotel in Vail, Colorado, to source an experienced Director of Food & Beverage. This role is critical in leading the entire F&B division, overseeing multiple outlets, including fine dining, casual dining, room service, and banquet operations. The Director will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional culinary experience in line with the hotel’s world-class reputation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing food and beverage operations within a luxury hotel or resort setting. They will be skilled in developing high-performing teams, optimizing guest satisfaction, and maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Food & Beverage division, including restaurant outlets, in-room dining, banquet services, and bar operations.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance guest experiences while maintaining budgetary goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation in both service delivery and menu offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency and quality in menu offerings.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of F&B staff, ensuring a high level of service and teamwork across all departments.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, maintaining strict cost control while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address any concerns to maintain the hotel’s luxury service standards.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses to ensure the highest quality products and services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Food & Beverage management, with at least 3 years in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Proven track record of leading successful F&B operations, including high-volume and fine dining outlets.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring teams.
- Knowledge of Colorado state health and safety regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
