Ensuring our employees are well-trained for their roles is not only essential for safety and compliance, but also for having a confident, ready-for-anything team that exercises good judgement and remains steady under pressure. As the Corporate Trainer, you will have a key role in delivering The Arc’s Essential Trainings to new and existing employees to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations. You will conduct accurate compliance trainings and stay up to date with the training regulations for DDA providers like The Arc.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating detailed information clearly, working with people of diverse backgrounds and skillsets digitally and in-person, and using their detail-oriented nature to both create training materials like videos, handouts, and curriculum and assess employees’ abilities to perform skills such as CPR, First Aid, AED use, food preparation, and driver trainings.
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a minimum of four year of professional experience with training facilitation and curriculum development. Past experience delivering training for a disability-focused organization is a plus. This position includes a competitive benefit package.
