Job Title – Functional QA - Data Migration/Validation
Location – Charlotte, NC

Project information:
- The candidate will be working as part of the functional QA team on the Flock-of-SQLs squad. The squad is working on a Data Migration project.
- The candidate needs to be able to guide and co-ordinate work with larger India based QA team, resolve roadblocks by meeting with other teams.
- Good communication and attitude are very important.
Here are the skills required:
- Database Expertise: Applicants need to have a solid experience in using Oracle, Sybase, and PostgreSQL databases, including understanding their architecture, management, and writing and executing complex SQL queries.
- Data Migration Experience: Candidates should have prior experience with data migration projects to understand potential problems and challenges such as data integrity, performance issues, and system incompatibilities.
- Test Planning: Candidates should have experience in creating and executing test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of data migration.
- AWS Proficiency: The project will be executed on AWS, so familiarity with AWS services related to data migration, is an added plus.
