Job Summary:
Design and develop high-performance photodiodes for applications in telecommunications, medical imaging, and consumer electronics. Ensure device optimization, scalability, and seamless integration into optoelectronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design photodiodes using semiconductor materials (e.g., silicon, InGaAs).
- Develop and test prototypes to meet performance specifications.
- Use simulation tools (TCAD, COMSOL) for modeling and optimization.
- Collaborate with manufacturing for scalable, cost-effective production.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct failure analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 3+ years of photodiode or semiconductor design experience.
- Expertise in semiconductor physics, photonics, and optoelectronics.
Preferred:
- Experience with avalanche or PIN photodiodes.
- Knowledge of fiber optic communication systems.
