About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to acquire new clients and projects for TMC’s high-tech and engineering consultancy services, focusing on driving growth through relationship-building and identifying business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new clients in sectors such as technology, energy, and life sciences.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Develop and present tailored proposals and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Achieve sales goals and expand the client portfolio.
Specific Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in B2B services.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close deals, contributing to company revenue growth.
- Hands-on experience in sectors like technology, engineering, energy, or life sciences.
- Knowledge of industry trends, key players, and technical requirements of projects in these fields.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Ability to engage with C-level executives, technical managers, and decision-makers.
- Experience negotiating contracts and pricing, understanding of project-based sales.
- Strong ability to work independently, managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Adept at identifying market trends and tailoring approaches accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations, proposals, and internal reporting.
- Experience with CRM software for tracking sales and managing client accounts.
