Position Overview
Our client is seeking a qualified candidate for a role focused on water resource management in either the Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Diego office location. The selected individual will:
- Oversee and direct water resource initiatives from inception to completion, including planning, design, and construction.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations.
- Create and implement sustainable solutions for water management.
- Offer technical guidance in areas such as stormwater management, flood mitigation, water quality, and watershed management.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and clients to develop innovative approaches.
- Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and compliance documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resource engineering.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, FLO-2D).
- Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
- Skills in design software such as AutoCAD are advantageous.

Compensation
Salary for this role is based on experience, expertise, education, and location, with a range of $105,000 to $155,000.
