Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-4PM

About the Role:
A Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, completed on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards. The specific responsibilities and scope of a Construction Manager’s role may vary based on the project's size, complexity, and requirements.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- 10+ years of experience in construction management
- Experience in pavement/concrete
- Subject matter expert in parking lot restoration
- Ability to manage multiple sites and crews/teams at any given time
- Familiarity with Project Management software
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Construction Manager include but are not limited to:
Project Planning: Lead the planning stages of projects by collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and develop comprehensive construction plans.
Timeline and Milestones: Establish project timelines and milestones, ensuring that construction plans are developed and adhered to, while identifying critical activities and potential bottlenecks.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and address delays or issues promptly. Make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
Conflict Resolution: Develop and implement effective communication strategies and mechanisms to prevent and resolve conflicts among project participants.
Multi-Site Oversight: Oversee the execution of multi-site rollout construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring seamless integration and successful delivery.
Planning and Budgeting: Play a pivotal role in project planning, budgeting, and resource identification. Create project teams, establish objectives and goals, and assign individual responsibilities to drive project success.
Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, negotiating contracts, and making cost-effective decisions to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Schedule Adherence: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the predetermined schedule, adjusting as required to accommodate changes and maintain project timelines.
Contractor Coordination: Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for various phases of the project to ensure timely and successful completion.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved, including architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal labor resources, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor construction progress, conduct status meetings with all sub-teams, and address any issues to ensure project milestones are met.
Quality and Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality standards, and safety regulations. Ensure that project documents and reports are completed and submitted daily.
Documentation Management: Accurately manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and correspondence. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, financial reports, and other required documentation.
Dispute and Claim Management: Identify potential sources of disputes and claims in project design and construction and address them proactively.
Client Liaison: Act as a key liaison with clients, reviewing and approving deliverables prepared by the team before final submission.
Project Completion: Post-completion, handle final inspections, obtain occupancy permits, and resolve any outstanding issues or deficiencies to ensure project closure and client satisfaction.
