You will play a crucial role in developing and executing a long-term operations strategy for the manufacturing facility, ensuring the achievement of financial operational metrics. Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance reporting metrics and tools for tracking plant performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Drive the achievement of savings targets through key capital investments, ensuring that standard costs are consistently updated to reflect current manufacturing processes.
- Provide robust financial analyses to support new capital investments and sourcing decisions, and create reusable tools for future projects.
- Optimize the organization and structure of the finance function within operations, implementing necessary changes to align with the finance mission.
Key Expertise:
- Proven history of driving manufacturing excellence and a dedication to continuous learning.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing and sales operations, with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing principles.
- Expertise in cost/managerial accounting, particularly in standard cost and project cost accounting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to proactively address issues and collaborate effectively with Operations leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of financial leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success as a financial leader and manager, with strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to transition seamlessly between strategic and tactical roles, with a hands-on approach in the manufacturing plant.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in leading ERP implementations across manufacturing operations, with a focus on finance modules.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering value, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a matrix environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturing is highly desirable.
