Job Summary:
Implement top notch physical therapy services in accordance with state regulations and company guidelines. Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, contribute to case management, and ensure quality patient care while fostering positive relations with facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Understand and comply with state Practice Act regulations for physical therapy practice and supervision.
- Review and adhere to company Clinical Operations Policies & Procedures annually.
- Complete required Medicare compliance training and OSHA training annually.
- Assess, treat, and document skilled interventions for medically necessary patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required paperwork promptly.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, patients, and third-party payers.
- Attend facility meetings as directed and fulfill continuing education requirements.
- Maintain current CPR certification as per state licensure.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Meet facility productivity expectations efficiently.
- Participate in clinical in-services and stay current on healthcare field changes.
- Assist in specific areas of center operations as assigned.
- Perform other duties or special projects as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using appropriate techniques.
- Constant ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach during work shifts.
- Visual acuity for patient evaluation, record keeping, and direction giving.
- Effective speech and hearing abilities for communication needs.
- Fine motor skills for writing, charting, and equipment handling.
Required Credentials:
- Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist education program.
- State licensure/registration as applicable.
