Job Title: Medical Device Developer
Location: Indianola, PA (On-Site)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Overview:
This role focuses on developing software for medical devices, ensuring the product meets customer needs and complies with FDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software for medical devices, following the entire product lifecycle (from requirements to delivery) in an agile environment.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to design high-performance, customer-focused solutions.
- Create innovative and scalable designs, evaluating different technical options.
- Understand business impacts and make sound technical decisions.
- Follow best practices in software development and medical device regulations.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards like FDA 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 62304, and FDA cybersecurity guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and write technical documentation.
- Contribute to solutions that improve customer value and the product.
Top Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, including full SDLC, C/C++ programming.
- 2+ years experience in Python and working with Linux Ubuntu and SafeRTOS (especially in medical or regulated industries).
- Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube.
- Understanding of FDA regulations and medical device software standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
