THE ROLE:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee a team of technicians, applying optimal engineering practices to maintain and enhance equipment, ensuring the efficiency of all necessary processes within the Production Departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a growing team of 10+ (technicians and team leads).
- Develop a strategy for team growth in order to support new initiatives.
- Responsible for all capital and facilities equipment in the plant.
- Lead in the usage and deployment of an EAM system to support work orders and spare part consumption/reordering and to organize, prioritize, schedule and maintain status of all equipment PM schedules.
- Promote and environment of safety and performance.
- Repair and maintain production machinery, equipment, and tooling.
- Lead the design, break-down, and set-up of production equipment.
- Coordinate the fabrication, repairs, and maintenance with outside contractors.
MUST HAVES:
- Associates Degree in a Technical field (BS preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years experience in manufacturing.
- 3+ years in management roles.
- Automated Conveyance Systems Experience a must.
- Computer skills; Word, Excel, SAP, CAD.
- Lean manufacturing certification a plus.
