Clinical Coder/Biller
Hybrid in Anaheim, CA (3 days onsite/week – a little flexible)
$22/hr - $27/hr
Contract, possible C2H
Start: ASAP
Duties:
- Code all billable visits using accurate E&M, CPT, ICD-10.
- Submission of claims, timely review and follow-up on denied or delayed claims and post-paid claims.
- Keep up with the industry standards set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), commercial insurance plans, medi-cal and managed care plans.
- Develop regular reports and participate in regular meetings on the status of claims
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Outpatient, Medical Billing & Coding experience
- Infusion Coding/Billing experience required
- Experience working with all payers – commercial, government, Medicare, Medicaid.
- High School or equivalent and graduate from an accredited school or program in Medical Billing and Coding
- Required vaccinations: Influenza, COVID-19 plus 1 booster, MMR , Varicella , Hepatitis B and Tdap
