Job Description
Minimum Education Level: High School Graduate/GED
- Demonstrated strong communications skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to understand and follow job-related instructions given in English, either verbally or in writing.
- Basic computer skills(e-mail/Calendaring email , excel ) and use of smartphones.
- Valid California Non-commercial Class C license.(optional)
- Horticultural industry-related certification is preferred.
- Basic horticultural knowledge.
**Must Have Car Driver’s License
The location for this assignment will be: 560 Fremont Road, Stanford.
Schedule: M-F 6AM to 2:30PM
Requirements:
- Mow, fertilize, and water lawns, shrubbery, ground cover, flowering plants and trees
- Prepare beds for planting
- Remove leaves and rubbish from grounds
- Spray herbicides as trained and directed
- Weed small areas
- In a training capacity, and/or under close supervision, cultivate, prune, plant, transplant, fertilize, and water shrubbery, ground cover, flowering plants, and trees
- May operate walking power mowers or other non-mobile power equipment
- Adhere to safety rules
