Schedule Engineer - Charlotte, NC or Charleston, SC - W2 only - $80k-$110k/year

We are looking for a Schedule Engineer in our Charlotte and Charleston regions. Let me know what you and your team thinks.
Schedule Engineer key responsibilities will be:
- Establish and maintain software systems to meet scheduling and planning requirements as per contract.
- Maintain and update process and procedures documents for project planning and schedule development.
- Set up and manage permissions and standard templates on scheduling software platforms.
- Create projects in the appropriate software platform before project initiation, ensuring teams can build schedules.
- Train project teams on the use of scheduling software and ensure they have the necessary resources.
- Review preliminary and initial schedules for quality and compliance with Samet Corporation and contract requirements, advising operations on necessary changes.
- Ensure all schedules are cost and resource loaded as required by contracts.
- Maintain baseline schedules for each project, noting impacts of scheduled and unscheduled work.
- Archive schedules post-project completion.
- Interface with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impacts and resolve scheduling issues.
- Develop working schedules for estimating and business development to illustrate work activity sequences and timelines.
- Serve as a technical advisor for scheduling process or software issues.
- Assist Project Managers or Superintendents in creating short-term/interval schedules and monitor them to assess impacts on the master schedule.
- Provide necessary information on the content, modifications, or presentation of project schedules.
- Identify and address scheduling software training needs, ensuring ongoing training and updates on software advancements.
- Continuously expand and update professional knowledge and training skills to enhance team innovation and productivity.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of successful experience in construction management, familiar with a variety of project types including commercial, office/industrial, institutional, and multifamily/mixed use.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS/Office 365, and knowledgeable other leading construction software including but not limited to Procore, MS Project, Schedule Validator.
- Strong working knowledge of construction/field service workflows.
- Skilled in CPM scheduling techniques, schedule resource loading and leveling, earned value management, and schedule review, analysis, and reporting.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
