Senior Program Manager - Risk and Controls

Join our client's Global Business Risk and Controls (GBRC) Office in a pivotal leadership role. As part of the team responsible for governing the company’s Control Framework and Assurance programs, you will play a critical role in overseeing centralized processes and procedures that support the effective management of the firm’s Control Program. Your work will drive meaningful impact on the organization's enterprise-wide Transformation Program, ensuring that our client's governance standards and risk management strategies remain strong, efficient, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities - Senior Program Manager - Risk and Controls:
- Lead the day-to-day management of complex programs, ensuring alignment with the firm’s business goals and strategic priorities.
- Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders across business lines and functions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions, resolve macro-level issues, and steer programs to success by driving alignment with broader business objectives.
- Oversee the development and execution of program plans, ensuring risks are identified and managed proactively with mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to governance processes and best practices in program delivery, driving consistency across the portfolio.
- Support resource negotiation across departments to meet program goals, ensuring program scope is effectively managed and aligned with business objectives.
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
- Develop and maintain key program documentation, including program plans, charters, and stakeholder management reports.
- Evaluate and guide the performance of direct reports, providing coaching and development as necessary.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in making business decisions, with an emphasis on compliance and safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
Qualifications - Senior Program Manager - Risk and Controls:
- Extensive experience in program management, ideally within a large, complex, and regulated environment.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives, with a track record of delivering high-impact results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strategic and critical-thinking mindset.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in program execution.
- Deep understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and control processes.
Education - Program Management Senior Lead:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
