The Technical Learning Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring DBI’s training programs are effectively executed, enabling the company to maintain its technical expertise and innovative culture. This role is essential for managing the day-to-day operations of DBI’s technical learning programs. This includes planning, organizing, and overseeing learning modules, managing internal learning platforms, and coordinating with internal teams and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality learning experiences. The goal of this position is to ensure that all employees are equipped with the technical knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and seminars.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
- Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Leverage data and analytics to enhance the quality and impact of learning initiatives.
- Support employees in developing technical competencies by providing coaching, mentoring, and access to learning resources.
- Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Promote continuous skills development that enhances technical excellence across the organization
- Work closely with department heads and managers to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.
- Communicate training plans and schedules effectively across the organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Manage training schedules, logistics, and resources efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive records of training activities and individual progress in technical skill development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Educational Technology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in a learning and development or training coordination role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple learning programs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or other digital learning platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is conducted primarily in an indoor office environment with protection from weather conditions and exposure to noise typical of an office setting.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires light lifting (10 – 15 lbs.), standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, fingering (keyboarding) and repetitive hand motion, grasping, talking, and hearing at normal speaking levels. Work requires visual acuity to read and prepare data, transcribe words and numbers, view information on a computer terminal, read, operate office machines, and determine the accuracy and thoroughness of work.
The Technical Learning Coordinator is required to work in the DBI New York office from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM to accommodate occasional meetings and work activities. Salary: 70k-75k
