LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Ajilon) is seeking a HR Manager for a direct hire, permanent placement with a manufacturing company in Indianapolis. The HR Manager will manage all aspects of HR including recruitment, benefits and employee relations. The HR Manager will also support the leadership time with various HR related tasks, including but not limited to: Job Fairs, Interview Screening, Onboarding, Safety Training, and Employee Engagement Events. Salary range for this position is $100-120,000 based on experience (10+ years required) plus health, dental, 401k matching, and generous PTO.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Recruitment, Employee Relations events
Administer all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations.
Coordinates and conducts the new employee on boarding process and presents benefits presentations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions.
Fulfills all governmental regulatory mandates and ensures filings are performed as required.
Plans and administers annual open enrollment period. This includes preparation (or revision) and distribution of materials, conducting meetings to communicate changes to employees, arranging for on-site representation by providers, and processing changes within deadlines.
Plans, conducts and reports results of audits to ensure all enrollments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee and works closely with Accounting for quarterly and year end audits (payroll, Workers Comp, 401k, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years experience of HR Experience for MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
- Must have a Bachelors degree; a focus in HR, Business Administration or Accounting is a plus
- Minimum of 5+ years of employment law, benefit administration, orientations and general HR experience
- Must have strong knowledge of HR laws and regulatory compliance such as HIPAA and FMLA; ACA compliance a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve routine and complex problems
