About The Role:
As a Quantitative Research Intern, you'll collaborate with a team of experts to refine models that support trading strategies. You'll work on impactful research projects that directly influence trading decisions in a fast-evolving market, using your skills to forecast market movements.
With guidance from the training team, you'll gain core trading knowledge while contributing to a meaningful research project. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful, real-world research projects in a dynamic market environment.
Day-to-Day:
- Partner with experienced researchers to design statistical models and apply machine learning techniques to enhance trading strategies.
- Utilize large-scale data analysis to assess market activity and identify potential trading opportunities.
- Develop and refine stochastic models to assess the value of various financial products.
- Improve the accuracy and efficiency of pricing algorithms and computational tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Expected graduation date between 2026 and 2027.
- Strong background in mathematics, probability, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with programming; knowledge of machine learning or natural language processing is an advantage.
