About the Client:
We are representing a commercial General Contractor based in Oklahoma City, OK who undertake both commercial and ground up multifamily apartment construction projects. They are currently expecting an additional $60M in revenue from multifamily projects before the end of 2024, and are looking to grow their team. This General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Construction Project Manager with ground up multifamily project experience, specifically, wood-frame, 200+ units in size. This PM will need to have been the lead on these projects previously and have a demonstrated track record of good tenure.
Superintendent Job Description:
The Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing Multifamily construction projects, ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, and field staff throughout the project.
Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Manage subcontractor performance relationships
- Be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects
- Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management
- Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance program
- Promote an Injury-free job site through safety initiatives and Company safety program
Superintendent Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience as a construction Project Manager for a General Contractor.
- 1-2 ground up multifamily projects (wood frame, 200+ units) overseen as the lead PM.
- Strong scheduling, quality, safety, and field management experience
- Ability to lead and assess trade performance on the job
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore is a plus
