We are in search of a seasoned mechanical engineer with experience designing large, heavy equipment such a railroad construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or other types of construction equipment.
Job Description
- Design and oversee production of construction equipment for the railroad industry utilizing Solidworks
- Lead projects involving hydraulic system design, electrical system design, and structural design of load-bearing components.
- Serve as project manager creating custom machine configurations and developing new features and attachments to address customers' individual needs from initial bid to final acceptance testing.
- Serve as the engineering point of contact for customers providing on-site and remote support
- Utilize past drawings and designs along with new technology and conceptual ideas to bring new products to market
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer or a very closely related field
