About the role: As a Product Analyst within the Product Management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our analytics capabilities. This team is focused on addressing critical business challenges through robust data and analytics foundation capabilities, master data management practices, and customer platform. The key objectives are to improve how the organization runs, grows, and optimizes the business while delivering personalized shopping experiences to specified demographic consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Dive deep into complex challenges faced by our external (Medicare consumers and Health Plans) and internal (Business leaders, Data Science, ML engineering, Product experience & design) stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into clear and actionable user stories or product specifications.
- Market and User Research:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify market opportunities and recommend product improvements.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather feedback on product usability and satisfaction.
- Agile Process Participation:
- Participate in established agile process activities such as iteration planning, stand-ups, iteration demos, and retrospectives.
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Communicate effectively by crafting, articulating, and executing a clear product vision that aligns with the company’s short and long-term business strategy.
- Lead technical discussions and be a thought leader to identify the appropriate strategy for business outcome metrics, make sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful development and deployment of product iterations.
- Work with cross-matrixed teams to guide the development of the models and deployment to endpoints.
- Data Analysis:
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including Google Analytics, to extract actionable insights.
- Product and Model Performance:
- Conduct regular product reviews to measure product success, monitor and track model and product performance against these metrics.
- Feedback Integration:
- Analyze feedback from various sources to continuously improve the product.
- Assist the Sr. Product Manager with iteration-level decision-making as needed.
Skillset Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience using analytical tools and techniques, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- 1+ year experience working with Advertising technology and Marketing technology principles.
- 1+ year experience understanding and building a strategy for a broad range of demographics such as: visually impaired, disability, elderly, etc.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and data collection techniques.
- Familiarity with product management tools and agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts in a concise and understandable manner.
- Ability to prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Creative execution with the ability to manage several initiatives in different stages of the product lifecycle.
- A curious systems thinker, effective written and verbal communicator, and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
