REMOTE ROLE. Hybrid Program Fronting Carrier seeks an Senior Counsel with solid Reinsurance Treaty Agreement/Contracting (MUST HAVE) and related Trust/Collateral agreement experience. Experience also with Fronting Company Onboarding Contracting experience is a strong plus, i.e, General Agency/MGA Agreements, Claim Administration agreements with TPAs, and ancillary agreements (NDAs, servicing). This is an add-to-dept role within a small 4-5 attorney legal team. The role focuses on negotiating, reviewing & drafting Reinsurance Treaty Contracts as well as new and renewal agreements critical to the fronting business model. There will also be some minimal vendor agreements. For this NEW Sr. Counsel role, they will also want to utilize whatever other applicable experience the attorney brings with them (i.e., if have compliance, maybe be asked to support Compliance team, etc.). Candidates MUST HAVE P&C Comm. lines experience, and experience with personal lines and specialty insurance products, and programs business experience is a strong plus. Candidates MUST HAVE strong communication skills, ability to quickly adapt to change and multi-task various assignments, analytical & critical thinking skills to quickly & concisely identify significant issues, and excellent drafting/negotiation skills and proven ability to craft proposed solutions & contractual provisions. This role is 100% remote although the company usually meets 2-4x/year for collaboration and team building.; no more than 10-15% travel. Great benefits and 20-25% bonus target (DOE).
