Event Coordinator
Are you a creative sales-minded, strategy-driven individual with a passion for marketing and a genuine interest in communicating with clients daily? We are seeking a strong Event Coordinator whose job is to plan and execute events for a top national firm, SWAN Capital in Pensacola, FL.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate superb event planning skills. We are seeking an individual who can plan, execute, and iterate campaigns to drive engagement, quality leads, and qualified opportunities. A sharp phone presence with excellent listening skills, a love for phones, and the ability to build a rapport with our prospects and clients are a must. We are looking for an ambitious person that is great at asking in-depth questions and getting our prospects engaged!
This individual will execute the seminars, client events, and build rapport with our clients and prospects!
Minimum Requirements:
- The desire to work long-term in the financial industry
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend events
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field – or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within a community-focused context
- Industry knowledge/experience preferred
- Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly

Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to identify event opportunities and objectives that align with the company’s goals and community’s interests
- Execute and plan the events such as workshops, festivals, fundraisers, seminars, and social gatherings for the financial firm
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including securing venues, permits, vendors, equipment, and catering services
- Develop and manage events budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and adherence to financial constraints
- Create event timelines and oversee scheduling to ensure smooth execution and adherence to deadlines
- Develop promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and community engagement
- Utilize social media, email marketing, and other platforms to effectively market events and engage with the community
- Foster relationships with local partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance event experiences and support collaborative initiatives
- Collect and analyze feedback from community members and participants to improve future event planning
- Stay updated on industry trends, event management best practices, and community preferences to continually enhance event offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Salary:
- $40,000 - $45,000/year BOE plus commissions
