Job Title: Windows 11 Build and Deployment Contractor

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking experienced contractors to assist with the configuration, upgrade, and deployment of computers for a major Windows 11 migration project. This is a hands-on role within the PC Support Team, involving both technical configuration and end-user support. Candidates must have experience with Windows 10/11, imaging, builds, and deployments, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure computers for Windows 11 upgrade or replacement, ensuring customer satisfaction and data/application accuracy.
- Deploy new computers to end-users and reclaim old devices, updating asset management records accordingly.
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and security issues.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems using a consultative approach.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hardware and software, adhering to customer technology standards.
- Maintain inventory records of hardware, peripherals, and other technical equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Image and deploy devices (PCs, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices).
- Perform post-installation support and ensure all equipment is operating as expected.
- Support break/fix activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with users and technical teams, fostering collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with PC hardware, imaging, builds, and deployments (clinical environment preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, network protocols, and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of printer/scanner installation and support.
- Familiarity with disk encryption (BitLocker) and SCCM is a plus.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be friendly, and enjoy working with a diverse range of staff.
- AS degree in Information Sciences and Technology or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to travel between various Lehigh Valley locations.
