We are looking for a Principal EWIS Engineer that will be responsible for all activities related to the system development such as electrical hardware definition (connector, cables etc.), wiring routing, support zonal analysis and systems installation, support electrical diagrams design.
Duties:
- Develop following requirements; of all wire, wiring device, or combination of these, including termination devices, installed in any area of the airplane for the purpose of transmitting electrical energy, including data and signals, between two or more intended termination points & structure design for EMI protection
- Responsible for the design, research and development of advanced new electric hardware technology application for an e-VTOL program and also, wire and main high-voltage/low-voltage power cables installation, minimizing the risk of wire damage.
- To create/validate the design guidance/methodology for aircraft level EWIs & EMI protection standards for wire/cable installation and structure & system designs to use in design analysis and system/equipment qualification tests.
- Develop plan and execute aircraft level validation & verification activities.
- Responsible for systems requirements and certification reports (e.g.: System Description report, Harness Installation Inspection report, EMI test report, etc…)
- Responsible for discussing Certification approach and Means of Compliance with Certification Authority.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Electrical Engineering. Master degree in a technical and/or management specialty related to EWIS and E3(Electromagnetic Environmental Effects) is preferred preferred.
- 10+ years of deep, hands-on experience in EWIS development, design, and testing in a Military, Commercial, or business aircraft development programs.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience specific to, electrical hardware, cables and wiring and associated technologies and managing system suppliers as the technical point of contact.
- 10+ years of deep, hands-on experience in E3 development, design, and testing in a Military, Commercial, or business aircraft development programs
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience specific to, system integration considering interoperability, electromagnetic interference, high intensity radiated field, lightning and associated technologies and managing system suppliers as the technical point of contact.
