We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to handle family law cases from inception to resolution. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of family law cases, including initial client consultation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and litigation proceedings.
- Provide guidance and counsel to clients on legal matters and case strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Qualifications
- Law and Family Law expertise
- Experience in handling legal issues, motions, and depositions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- State Bar admission in Virginia
- Experience in family law practice is a plus
