The General Manager (GM) will provide daily and weekend leadership and direction to the sales and fitness staff. The GM will be responsible for lead generation and implementation of marketing strategies to increase membership performance of their assigned studio. This member will work directly with staff to accomplish sales and operations performance expectations. This leader must possess a high caliber approach to staff development and performance management!
Job Duties:
• Properly manage and exceed all studio sales goals.
• Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems with all staff. Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (studio events, outreach).
• Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI's), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
• Manage, monitor, develop and evaluate the performance of staff.
• Recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring and scheduling of studio staff in assigned location.
• Direct sales through company required outreach programs.
• Provide timely and effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
• Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using studio tools for effective outreach and community involvement.
• Responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, maintained and operationally efficient.
• Cultivate and maintain increased studio class size through scheduling tools.
• Enforce studio policies, business practices, systems and processes.
• Consistently achieve 20 sales per month.
• Expectation to work a minimum of one weekend day per week.
