National General Contractor specializing in Restaurant and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) projects. Seeking a Construction Superintendent with strong experience in restaurant construction to lead projects across the state of Texas.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Construction Superintendent will oversee ground-up and renovation restaurant and QSR projects throughout Texas. This role requires travel and on-site management to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day construction activities for Restaurant and QSR projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to prevent overruns.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment and manage site logistics.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Complete daily reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience in managing Restaurant and QSR construction projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years as a Superintendent with ground-up and renovation experience in the restaurant sector.
- Proven ability to manage tight schedules and fast-paced project environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality control measures.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Texas.
