What is the position?
The SOC Operator will play a key role in the security operations team and will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining day to day operations.
What will you do?
As a SOC Operator, you will:
- Understand and execute on emergency response notifications to spills, releases, and other incidents.
- Responsible for contacting and coordinating with internal and external agency notifications.
- Provide support to the security operator center during high call volume.
- Play a key role in day-to-day SOC operations.
- Respond to external notifications, alerts, or other activations of the security systems.
- Provide assistance to field personnel in response to emergency or weather situations and determine the appropriate response requirements.
- Coordinate with emergency services, law enforcement agencies, or other individuals/groups requiring notification during an incident.
- Operate equipment to receive reports of security violations for Williams facilities.
- Manage security badging system.
What are the requirements?
- 2+ years relevant work experience
- CCTV and Physical Access experience preferred
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
