Job Title: Speech Data Annotation Specialist
Pay: $25.00-26.40/hour | Based on Experience
Duration: 4-Months | Ends Dec. 31, 2024
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40hrs/week
Location: HYBRID - Seattle, WA | 3 DAYS ONSITE
At the forefront of developing innovative speech and language technologies to enhance customer interactions, our client is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Speech Data Annotation Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for transcribing and annotating speech data, playing a crucial part in improving the quality and accuracy of audio experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcription & Annotation: Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services for speech data.
- Guideline Implementation: Translate established guidelines into daily work practices to ensure consistent and high-quality outputs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management on workload scheduling and deliverables.
- API Familiarity: Understand basic concepts of APIs and apply common sense logic in the annotation process.
- Data Evaluation: Annotate ground truth data and identify bucket failures in evaluation datasets.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in English
- Must be familiar with APIs in general
- Ability to read off a script
- Comfortable with computer literacy and typing speed of 50 wpm.
- Experience working with technical teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in speech transcription or annotation is highly desirable.
