We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on customizing TL Orchestration Systems to enhance feature development and streamline workflow improvements. This role will involve developing software solutions related to orchestration systems, ordering, and workflow management for content fulfillment. You will work extensively with AWS Serverless technologies, such as Lambda and Step Functions, to build and integrate various software platforms. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors will be key in troubleshooting and driving resolution for issues. Occasional night and weekend support will be required for emergency outages.
Responsibilities
- Customize existing TL Orchestration Systems to enable new feature development and improve workflows.
- Work with Serverless frameworks (Lambda and Step Functions) within AWS infrastructure.
- Develop software for orchestration systems, ordering processes, and content workflow management.
- Integrate multiple software platforms using internal and external APIs.
- Collaborate with internal operational, technology, and vendor teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide emergency support during nights and weekends when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda and Step Functions).
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including DynamoDB, EventBridge, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience developing large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
- Ability to independently test code, including automated and manual testing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written/verbal communication.
- Capable of working in environments with minimal documented requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaS), particularly AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $25- $33/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
