Rohadfox Corporation is Construction Management Firm currently looking to add an outgoing, focused Client Services Manager to add to their very busy Corporate Team. This position requires someone who has a Water and Wastewater Construction background; someone who is proactive in creating new business relationships as well as engaging and encouraging ongoing client relationships with those we already have. This requires someone who has experience in and an understanding of the management of projects involving planning, design and construction engineering of water, wastewater and infrastructure, for municipal clients in the Southeast US Region. Someone who has a proven, successful, track record in developing new business in a Construction Management environment, selling a service not a product.
You can work from your home office and should be based in the Atlanta metro area; however, you must be available to come into the office and/travel as needed. This is a full-time position, and we will assist with relocation for the right individual.
Summary of Duties
Business Development:
• Lead business development pursuits including strategies, capture plans, proposals, and presentations
• Lead the established business development team in preparing for and participating in client interviews; this may include being the main author for client presentations or managing their preparation
• Leverage personal and client relationships with customers to secure additional opportunities
• Develop individual client relationship management plans for specific clients; be accountable for regular relationship building and business growth with these clients
• Sharing knowledge of technologies, market trends, competitive intelligence and client account growth strategies
• Develop business development budget estimates and manage such budgets without overruns
• Keeps business development tracking and reporting systems up to date for current and future pursuits
• Attend relevant business conferences and networking events to build professional relationships
• Travel may be required and is based on territory and client assignments.
Water/Wastewater Sector:
• Performing project management duties on multiple projects and/or programs
• Performing project related tasks as required to complete projects on time and within budget
• May be required to work evenings and weekends to meet proposal deadlines
• Lead technical proposal preparation efforts and presentations along with delivering client interviews and fostering overall client expectations with respect to projects
• Mentoring of engineering staff
• Recruitment of new technical staff
• Lead or assist project teams in development of facility and or utility master plans
• Also responsible for completing specific portions of assigned tasks, and/or leading task teams, while working closely with engineers, designers and project managers
• Participate in on-site testing, startup or troubleshooting of water or wastewater facilities or infrastructure
• Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members
• Conducts work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements; participates in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers
• Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop design schedules for design projects for success in this position
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred; we will consider a PMP certification, DBIA certification or CM certification or ability to obtain within 12-15 months
• At least 10 years of water/wastewater management experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects
• Experience managing Water/ Wastewater Design-Build projects, including the development of scope, schedule, and budget and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule very desirable
• Significant experience in pumping station and pipeline construction
• Strong understanding of consulting engineering business and municipal agencies
• Strong business development, proposal preparation, and marketing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation
• The ability to prioritize, track budgets, project schedules and anticipate associated upcoming tasks
• Ability to demonstrate established performance in fast moving environments with challenging deadlines and requirements
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead sales teams, develop successful capture strategies and lead the delivery of quality proposals
• Ability to work effectively with diverse and strong personalities
