One of Chicago's oldest and most reputable general contractor is looking to add a Senior Project Manager due to a record year. They have an excellent culture with employee retention at 92% year over year. They have a diverse back log of work including multifamily, educational, institutional, healthcare and industrial, with projects valued between $20M-$70M. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of project management experience at a commercial general contractor.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a leadership team dedicated to providing world class service to our clients by leading the day-to-day management of the project
- You will create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required to achieve the project’s goals
- The Senior Project Manager will communicate with the project stakeholders, manage risk and monitor progress against the schedule
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for and dedication to getting the job done
- Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
- Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience at a General Contractor
- Commercial, Multifamily, Light Industrial, Institutional project background
- Successful track record running projects valued at $15M+
- Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree preferred
- OSHA Certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer:
- $130,00-$160,000 based on experience
