Senior Propulsion Controls Design Engineer
Direct Hire Starting Salary: $120k - $150k range depending on years of experience (Full Time, Direct Hire Opportunity)

Reaquirement:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other Engineering discipline.
- Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering experience with motor, alternator, and power electronics control
- 8 or more years classic control development experience
- Hands-on design experience in motors controls design using PID Controllers, Algorithms, Hardware in Loop, and Algorithms.
- Experience using model-based designing tools such as MatLab/Simulink and/or MATRIXx.
- Hands on working experience designing classic motors controls, working with PID Controllers, Algorithms, HIL/Hardware in Loop, and Classic Filters and developing filters or simulation from scratch
What will your typical day look like?
- Developing classic control systems for new products and new features for our existing fleet. Control development will span the entire lifecycle from customer definition, concept selection, modeling, simulation, and implementation to verification and validation testing.
- Documenting system requirements and flowing requirements to subsystem, & component development teams.
- Evaluating detailed designs for technical merit & adherence to sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Coordinating sub-system validation and reports for testing performed internally, at 3rd party sites, or on customer site.
- Monitoring and communicating project status, business issues and significant developments
- Periodic travel for durations of 2 to 3 weeks to conduct testing or investigate issues.
