As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high-volume additive manufacturing production operations. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, operators, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective execution of production activities. This includes managing workflow, optimizing throughput, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be a key member of the operations team. collaborating cross-functionally to align operations with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee a team of production personnel, including technicians, operators, and support staff.
* Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to maximize throughput and meet customer demands
* Analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings
* Maintain strict quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations
* Manage budgets, labor, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
* Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on production performance and key metrics
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in a production or operations management role, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment
* 5+ years of experience with industrial additive manufacturing
* Proven track record of leading and motivating large teams in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
* Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality control processes, and continuous improvement methodologies
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies and processes is a plus
