Our Financial Services client looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to provide essential support in their corporate litigation department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of paralegal experience, with a strong background in corporate settings and a comprehensive understanding of legal procedures. This is an onsite contract role, providing an opportunity to work closely with our legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and organization of litigation, dispute, and investigation documents.
- Manage and review case files, including evidence, exhibits, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal memos, briefs, and correspondence.
- Utilize Exterro or similar applications to manage e-discovery and case-related data.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to facilitate smooth case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate legal issues and litigation processes.
- Perform administrative tasks related to case management and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on corporate litigation.
- Proven familiarity with corporate legal environments and practices.
- Strong proficiency with Exterro or similar e-discovery applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
