Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly experienced Private Equity Associate to join their team. As a key member of the investment team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the private equity lifecycle, from deal origination through portfolio management and exit strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: Perform detailed financial modeling, market research, and due diligence to assess potential investment opportunities.
- Deal Execution: Support transaction processes, including valuation, financial structuring, negotiation, and coordination with third-party advisors.
- Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio company management teams to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and support value creation initiatives.
- Industry Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscapes, and key developments in the healthcare, business services, and consumer sectors.
- Reporting: Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal discussions and external stakeholders, including limited partners.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or private equity. Experience in healthcare, business services, or consumer sectors is preferred. Lateral Associates (1-2 years of PE experience) will be considered.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, M&A processes, and private equity investment strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while also taking initiative and driving projects independently.
