Law firm seeks highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record of handling complex legal matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and development.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare and present oral arguments in court.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Stay current with developments in litigation and relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NJ bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of two years of experience in litigation, preferably in commercial and employment litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
