Director of Engineering Opportunity with a Neuromodulation Medical Device Company
This remote opportunity is with a Medical Device company based in California seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a small-sized organization.
Strong knowledge and experience with implantable neurostimulation devices required.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee and help drive design and development efforts from concept to production
- Manage complexity, technical product design, and cross functional teams while working closely with the executive, all engineering, sales, and marketing teams
- Optimize engineering policies, budget management, staffing forecasts, training programs, and career progression
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in the Medical Device Industry
- 8+ years of recent experience in the Neuromodulation Industry with active implantable devices
- Expertise and competency in various technical disciplines (Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, and/or Software Engineering)
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or related field
Compensation: $215k - $280k + base & equity
Remote position: Required to travel a minimum of 10 times a year for R&D meetings, conferences, and field visits
