JOB DESCRIPTION
Stasis Drilling Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Middle Eastern (MENA) Regional Engineering Manager to oversee engineering operations within the Middle East region, ensuring consistent engineering practices and alignment with corporate goals. This role requires strategic planning, technical oversight, and the ability to lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality services and innovative solutions. It is heavily client-focused, requiring a technically proficient leader who will engage directly with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure their satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have at least B.Sc. Degree in an Engineering Discipline, with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in development/execution of MPD projects. Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds are essential. Strong communication, managerial, and influencing skills are also required, along with proven project management capabilities and technical proficiency. The role involves managing internal relationships, engaging with clients, and ensuring full adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment policies. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Primary responsibilities are inclusive, but not limited to the items listed below.
• Lead and manage regional engineering teams, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and standards.
• Oversee the design, planning, and implementation of MPD operations on drilling rigs.
• Develop and implement solution approaches and technical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure comprehensive pre-planning, including operational procedures, training, and economic evaluations.
• Evaluate equipment requirements, develop tender documentation, and review MPD equipment and installations.
• Drive regional growth strategies, assist in marketing and business development, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide on-site implementation and engineering support as needed.
• Prepare and present End of Well Reports, summarizing project results and learnings.
• Develop and manage the departmental budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources
• Develop and maintain the company's engineering and technical standards, and ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their technical and operational requirements are met through effective communication and service delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, health, and environmental compliance, and ensure that all engineering activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of professionals

Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling-related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) services and technologies
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to MPD & HSE.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to change.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
• Well Control Certification preferred.
• Proficiency with drilling engineering software (Safevision, Wellflo, Drill Bench, etc.).
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Arabic preferred
