We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our new comprehensive. This is a temporaray 2 year assignment witgh a hybrid schedule on-site 3 days a week.
Job Description:
This role requires expertise in federal contract compliance, Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting level two or higher (FAC-C II), federal accounting practices, contract negotiation, federal contract compliance, federal contract bidding, especially complex Requests for Proposal (RFP) award processes, and federal contract management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Information, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certification: Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) Level II required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally in a government or legal setting.
- Familiarity with large technology systems and software development processes.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Competent in the use of office tools and applications
