Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)

Pay Rate: $1851.46 - $2133.21
Ultrasound Tech needed asap for 13 weeks
Required Skills & Experience:
-1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.
-Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures.
-Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment.
-Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
Required Education:
-Associate's Degree in Ultrasound/Sonograpy or Radiologic Technology
OR
-Certificate of completion of Ultrasound/Sonograpy or Radiologic Technology program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
-IEMA Illinois Radiography License -ARDMS
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-RVT
-ARRT (R) or ARRT (S)
Performs diagnostic general radiological procedures utilizing various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries.
-This may include Cat Scan and C-arm units.
-Performs general, OB and some vascular Ultrasound.
-May also perform breast Ultrasound.
