They are now looking to elevate their senior leadership team with an Atomic Clock Development Lead.
About the Role:
As an Atomic Clock Development Lead, you will play a key role in advancing cutting-edge atomic clock technologies that directly contribute to the company's mission. We are looking for an innovative scientist capable of independently designing and conducting experiments, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and test miniaturized optical, mechanical, and electrical systems for chip-scale quantum sensors and atomic clocks.
- Lead independent research and experimentation to push the boundaries of atomic clock technology.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate your work into product development.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent industry experience in atomic, optical, or quantum physics, OR 3+ years of relevant academic or industry experience.
- Expertise in optical, trapped ion, or microwave atomic clocks.
Core Technical Expertise:
- Precision spectroscopy
- Narrow-linewidth lasers and laser frequency stabilization
- Optics, fiber optics, electro/acousto-optics, detectors
- Analog, digital, and RF electronics
- Control systems and instrumentation
