Controls Project Engineer
ISGF is seeking a skilled Controls Project Engineer to enhance energy projects globally. You will leverage your expertise in PLC programming, control panel design, instrumentation, and AC/DC systems to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and commission PLC-based Control Systems.
- Design detailed electrical systems for AC and DC applications.
- Create and review project deliverables, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
- Supervise electrical technicians during control panel fabrication.
- Conduct factory and on-site testing to validate system performance.
- Troubleshoot existing PLC programs using data and customer feedback.
- Ensure projects align with scope, budget, and schedule.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in Electrical, Controls, or Project Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years in automation, focusing on software development and implementation.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with PLC platforms.
- Familiarity with HMI platforms.
- Understanding of power generation systems, particularly gas turbines.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and relevant codes.
- Electrical design skills, including experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and proficiency with electrical testing tools.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
