The Senior Cash Flow Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the company’s cash flow and
liquidity forecasting, including both direct and indirect cash flow modeling. This role requires a
deep understanding of three-statement financial modeling (income statement, balance sheet,
and cash flow statement) and its implications for cash flow analysis. The Senior Cash Flow
Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally under direction of Senior Financial leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine both direct and indirect cash flow models to support short-term and long-term cash forecasting
- Perform detailed cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity, identify risks, and recommend actions to optimize cash utilization and assist in identifying opportunities to improve cash flow by
- identifying operational inefficiencies and opportunities within working capital management
- Integrate cash flow models with broader three-statement financial models, ensuring alignment between income statement projections, balance sheet changes, and cash flow forecasts
- Collaborate with FP&A, accounting, and treasury teams to ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting, including actual vs. forecast variance analysis
- Analyze historical trends in working capital components (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory) to forecast their impact on cash flow
- Improvement minded – able to understand complex processes, identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes
- Prepare management reports and dashboards, presenting cash flow forecasts, trends, and scenarios to senior leadership
- Support the budgeting and financial planning process by integrating cash flow projections with overall business forecasts
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in building and maintaining cash flow forecasting or financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial planning tools
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- MBA, CPA or CFA designation preferred
- Experience in retail, CPG, or e-commerce sectors preferred
- Knowledge of working capital management and liquidity optimization strategies preferred
This position follows a hybrid in-office schedule in either the Akron, OH or Dallas, TX office locations. Total days in office a month are 9-12 days depending on a 4 or 5 week month.
