General Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer SME (Subject Matter Expert) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in writing efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable code using AWS and PySpark. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud services such as Glue, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS, along with proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation. As an SME, you will lead and provide expert guidance on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable AWS cloud solutions. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable data pipelines using PySpark and AWS services including Glue, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code in Python to process and transform data.
- Utilize Terraform for managing infrastructure as code and automating the deployment of AWS services.
- Design and implement optimized SQL queries to handle large-scale data manipulation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, sharing expertise in AWS best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data pipelines to maximize performance and cost efficiency.
- Stay informed on emerging AWS technologies and industry trends to incorporate cutting-edge solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10 years of experience in developing scalable, testable, and reusable code using AWS and PySpark.
