Job Description:
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s HRIS to ensure accurate and efficient HR data management. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, implementing system upgrades, and supporting HR initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in HRIS administration or a related role; experience with [specific HRIS software, e.g., Workday] preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite (especially Excel), and data analysis tools; basic understanding of SQL or other database querying languages is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Certifications: HRIS certifications (e.g., Certified HRIS Professional - CHRP) or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience with: Integration of HRIS with other business systems, experience in system implementation or upgrades.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
