Content Creator
The Content Creator (CC) will be responsible for developing high-quality videos and images for web, social, marketing materials, and other major platforms. The CC is a creative individual who’s plugged into internet trends with a finger on the pulse of the social landscape. You will be well versed in all touchpoints of content creation: conception, storyboarding, execution, editing, and publishing. You will work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to develop thumb-stopping content that maximizes our reach and engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and broader marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals.
· Produce high-quality videos and photography showcasing products and the brand.
· In collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager, manage and maintain content calendar to ensure sufficient forward planning and timely delivery of content.
· Ability to create engaging video & photo compositions while adhering to brand guidelines across various platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
· Develop creative concepts and storyboard ideas for video & photography content that align with strategy and increase benchmarks such as site traffic, followers, reach, and engagement.
· Brainstorm innovative and captivating video series, tutorials, and other engaging formats to promote brand visibility and engagement
· Ability to capture pixel-perfect lifestyle, product and event imagery to use as promotional material
· Assisting in photoshoots: videography, BTS footage, etc.
· Image editing tasks, such as cropping, resizing, retouching, and color adjustments, to enhance the visual appeal of designs across both print and digital collateral
· Coordinate video shoots including location scouting and equipment setup
· Ensuring and maintaining visual brand consistency across all design projects.
· Nimbleness and adaptability to real time changes while capturing footage.
· Willingness to travel throughout the state to brand events, approximately 1-3 times a month.
· Where needed, support the graphic designer and broader marketing team in the development and design of digital assets including email, social graphics, in-store, and digital advertisements
· Ability to prepare and review files for print production, ensuring accuracy and quality
· Stay up-to-date with the always evolving digital media technologies and trends, incorporating them into content strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in related field or the equivalent experience.
· One to three years related marketing experience in a similar role, alcohol/beverage or cannabis industry experience a plus.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, iPhone
· Knowledge of industry standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) to create engaging and polished final products
· Excited by the opportunity to experiment creating new types of content

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Dimondale, MI (Greater Lansing Area). Onsite 3-4 days/week
Compensation: Salary/Exempt 45k – 65k
