Description: The SSIS Developer will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our legacy SSIS jobs. You will analyze existing code, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to improve data processing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough performance assessments of existing SSIS packages, identifying areas for optimization.
- Rewrite or enhance SSIS code to improve execution speed and resource utilization.
- Analyze data sources and target systems to identify potential performance impacts.
- Implement appropriate indexing and partitioning strategies to optimize data access.
- Enhance error handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Create clear and concise documentation for optimized SSIS packages.
- Work closely with data analysts, architects, and other team members to understand data requirements and integration needs.
Required skills:
- Proven experience as an SSIS Developer with a strong focus on performance optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of SSIS architecture, components, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.
