Summary: Our Insurance and Risk Management firm was founded in 1946. Since then, we've been providing sound Insurance and Risk Management advice to clients. We focus on Risk Management as a way to establish credibility as Insurance Advisors. We are currently looking for a Commercial Account Manager to add to our team.
Primary Role: Partner with Producer (Agency Principal) to coordinate and provide the daily management and delivery of Client Customer Service, interacting directly with clients on assigned accounts and underwriters. Exercise independent judgment, provide accurate and timely service, and implement agreed-upon strategies to create and maintain an optimal insurance program. This role will manage the Account of our largest client- who is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). The account is an all-lines account, but heavily focused on Workers Compensation.
Duties:
- Negotiate additional coverage terms, conditions and pricing as warranted by client on renewals and new business
- Oversee the accurate and timely issuance of renewal policies
- Spearhead the process of renewals for book of business
- Prepare and present specifications to underwriters, negotiate terms, conditions, pricing and frequently communicate marketing status to Producer
- Create precise proposal providing content in a logical format
- Responsible for the daily delegation of processing items such as invoicing, endorsements, audits, fleet schedule management, etc.
- Provide comprehensive binding instructions to carrier(s) and Confirmation of Coverage documentation to client, or assigning such duties to Associate
- Communicate detailed binding instructions to Associate, i.e. certificate issuance, invoicing, premium financing etc.
- Review contestable audits for accuracy, clarify client numbers/concerns and facilitate return and revisions with underwriter
- Finalize policy review process ensuring thorough analysis
- Create concise, written correspondence
- Have the organizational and technical skills to maintain a high-volume workload requiring attention to detail and meet or exceed significant timelines.
- Routinely communicate with account team members any potential change, problem or concern expressed by client and/or underwriter.
- Develop and maintain business relationships based on honesty, integrity and trust
- Conduct business with a positive demeanor, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to service excellence

Skill Requirements:

- Proficient Microsoft Office- Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experienced multi-tasking in fast-paced environment.
- Math competency.
- Take initiative, problem solve, make independent decisions and accept responsibility for those decisions.
- Demonstrate and broaden insurance knowledge.
- EPIC Agency Management System experience will be highly favored.
Licensing, Education and Experience Requirements:
- State of Texas Insurance License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree, preferred.
- Minimum five years' combined insurance + PEO experience, and three years' agency and/or brokerage experience supporting Commercial Property & Casualty lines of coverage in an Associate or Account Manager capacity.

We are flexible employers! Our office generally works on a 3-day per week, in office, 2-day per week remote, hybrid schedule. We work 37.5 hours per week, with 10 paid holidays per year and 18 days of paid time off annually (with a tenure schedule for PTO in place). We offer a full compensation benefits package, including LTD & STD, 401k match, life insurance, health insurance, vision, and dental insurance.
Base salary of $75,000 to $85,000, DOE
